RigolWFM.wfmconvert.pwl(args: Namespace, scope_data: Wfm, infile: str) → bool[source]

Create a piecewise linear (PWL) file for use in LTspice.

A PWL file holds explicit time/voltage pairs, so it preserves the waveform’s voltage scale and offset; LTspice instead reads a WAV source against a fixed -1 V to +1 V full-scale range. The output is a headerless, tab-separated, two-column text file representing one waveform.
